Generally, if I’m using Analog Lab, it’s for synth basses or pads, but there are some great leads, too. I haven’t gone through this version, but knowing what I think of the full version, I’d imagine many of those 500 presets are top-notch. But, you still get 500 presets across 28 iconic instruments. The difference between the full version and Analog Lab Intro is that you get far fewer presets with the Intro edition. I have a few Arturia KeyLab controllers, and at the time of buying, each came with a license for Analog Lab 4.Įven with a lot to choose from, I still rate some of the sounds from Analog Lab very highly, so if it’s going free, I’d always suggest grabbing it quickly. Plugin Boutique has a massive selection, so even if you don’t really need anything, you can grab something cheap and claim your freebie.Īnalog Lab Intro is a great place to start for anyone who doesn’t have lots of virtual instruments.

You can get your free copy until February 28th with any qualifying purchase.Īs usual, a qualifying purchase must be a paid product, and you can’t pay entirely with a voucher or virtual cash (anything less than 100% is OK). I instantly bought the Keylab for that.Plugin Boutique is continuing the trend of monthly gifts with Arturia’s popular Analog Lab Intro. Which is a shame because new added patches on AL V are really cool, and the new V Collection 8 instruments are mind blowing.

So now I'm stuck with the AL4 until this problem is addressed. for now limits its use for a preset browsing. I can't think of an alternative that does this better than Analog Lab.īut the new Analog Lab V. And later I can either edit deeper parameters on the full V Collection version or replace some tracks with different instruments. You can almost do everything solely in AL4. It's seamless and song writing is a breeze this way. I would come up with a chord progression so I'd pull up a synth pad from AL4, I can tweak some envelope parameters, open another instance of AL4 for a bass line, again tweak it to my taste, and then add Rhodes, even piano(I don't even need to bother opening Kontakt Libraries, I can just focus on song writing), etc etc. I can make a whole track sketch solely with the AL4. My new Keylab MK2 is a true inspiration machine with the Analog Lab 4.
